1. Agreement
By using our services or engaging with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These apply to all work carried out by CodingPie unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Services Offered
CodingPie provides web design, web development, eCommerce development, maintenance, and digital services. All services are subject to availability and final agreement upon quotation and scope.
3. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required before any project work begins.
The remaining 50% is due upon completion, prior to site handover or going live.
Payments must be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods within 14 days of invoice.
4. Revisions
We offer 2 rounds of revisions as part of each quoted project.
Additional changes beyond this scope may incur extra charges at our hourly rate.
Revisions must be requested within 14 days of receiving the project preview.
5. Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to deliver the service.
Refunds will not be issued for completed work or digital goods already delivered.
If a project is cancelled by the client after work has started, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion based on hours worked.
6. Project Timeline & Communication
Timelines will be agreed in writing before work begins.
Delays caused by the client (e.g. missed content, unresponsiveness) may affect the delivery date.
Regular communication is required to keep the project moving.
7. Ownership & Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client owns full rights to the final website, code, graphics, and materials delivered.
CodingPie retains the right to display the work in portfolios, case studies, or promotional materials unless otherwise agreed.
8. Use of Third-Party Services
We use third-party tools and services (e.g. hosting providers, plugins, fonts) in the development process.
We’re not liable for issues caused by third-party software or services.
9. Limitation of Liability
We will not be held liable for:
Loss of revenue, data, or business
Site downtime caused by third parties or hosts
Cyberattacks, if all reasonable protections were in place
Our maximum liability is limited to the total fee paid by the client.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement in writing. The client will be responsible for payment for all work completed up to that point.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by UK law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
