A coherent restaurant experience
One restaurant homepage leads to the menu, story, team, gallery, kitchen journal and shop. Alternative homepages and layout-picker pages have been removed from navigation; older shared URLs redirect to the retained pages.
The Ember & Olive wordmark replaces the source identity in the header, footer and illustrated menu covers. The dark palette, gold details, original display fonts and culinary photography remain consistent across the site.
What is implemented
- Original animated hero, rotating food seal, sticky header and responsive navigation.
- Animated menu tabs, featured-dish and quotation carousels, progress and hover effects.
- One gallery layout with category filters, pagination and individual dish pages.
- One journal layout with pagination and article pages.
- Eleven product details with search, sorting, category/price filters, image zoom and review tabs.
- A sliding mini-cart, persistent quantities, basket editing and checkout review.
- Table-booking and contact forms with local validation and explicit completion outcomes.
Original visuals, adapted frontend
The source template’s HTML, CSS, photographs, fonts, icons and animation libraries are served from the project. Slider Revolution, Slick, Owl, Isotope and Elementor behavior provide the original transitions and controls.
Next.js produces static pages, and a build adapter finalizes the native restaurant documents after every production build. The live pages load directly, without a preview iframe. Search, shopping and form actions run in a small browser-local integration.
Explore the working demo
Ember & Olive is a fictional portfolio identity. Staff, quotations, offers and location information are sample content. Forms do not contact a restaurant or reserve a table; checkout accepts no order or payment.
Open the live website to explore the menu, gallery, journal and product interactions. Restaurant demo pages are marked noindex and excluded from the public sitemap.
