A fresh perspective on interior care
Start with the materials, then work from the small details to the bigger surfaces.
Read the cabin before you clean
Leather, coated leather, textiles, screens and soft-touch plastics need different treatment. Before starting, check the vehicle handbook and product guidance. A small spot test can prevent an unwanted change in colour or finish.
Remove loose dirt first
Take out mats and loose belongings. Vacuum the seats, footwells and seams with a suitable attachment, keeping hard edges away from delicate trim. Use a soft brush to release dust from accessible crevices.
Work with controlled moisture
Apply cleaner to a cloth or brush instead of soaking the dashboard. Avoid saturating seats, switches and electrical components. When cleaning fabric, allow enough time and ventilation for it to dry fully.
Finish with the surfaces you touch
Clean the steering wheel, handles and controls using an appropriate product. Keep the finish natural and avoid slippery dressings on pedals or the steering wheel. A final glass clean helps remove lingering smears.
These notes introduce general care principles. Follow the vehicle handbook and the instructions for the actual products and equipment you use.
